THE WASHINGTON CLUB
Designed and built in 1902 by distinguished architect Stanford White, its Classical Revival style reflects the grandeur of a bygone era that places it on the National Register of Historical Places as one of the most elegant turn-of-the century mansions in Washington DC. A prior home of the Medill-Patterson-McCormick newspaper dynasty, this exquisite old-world gem served as the White House in 1927, home to President & Mrs. Coolidge, who hosted Colonel Charles A. Lindbergh there after his famous transatlantic flight. It has been the residence of the Washington Club since 1951.

Take I-95 North toward Washington
Continue on I-395 North toward Washington
Continue on I-395 North until it turns into 14th Street, N.W.

Turn left on Constitution Avenue, N.W.
Turn right on 18th Street, N.W.
Follow 18th Street to P Street, N.W.
Turn left onto P Street and continue to Dupont Circle

Take US 50 West/US 301 South
Take the New York Avenue, N.W. exit
